The Edirol R-09 HR (High Resolution) is stereo audio recorder that small enough to fit in your pocket but packs features that could let any audiophile enjoy the sound they hear in their surroundings again and again. The memory card supports SDHC which gives you the ability to store up to 8GB in memory. With this storage capacity, you can practically record for hours without interruption. Aside from being a stereo recorder, the audio recorder comes with pre-amps so that you can have customized experience of sounds. The gadget also has a line in support so if you are looking to transfer audio from a non-digital source, you can easily record without any external noise using line-in. A remote control is also provided and the user interface is very easy to understand.

The downside of Edirol R-09HR could actually be noticed when you compare this product to other portable recording devices of Edirol. To date, this version of Edirol portable recorder is the biggest. Although it will fit in your pocket, it certainly is noticeable. This audio recorder also does not have a tripod to easy handling of the audio recorder. But even with the disadvantages, the Edirol R-09HR is a decent portable audio recorder.
